INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION PROJECT

In the spring of 2022, I was in an intercultural communications course where we were assigned to research and create a digital artifact about a refugee group. I collaborated with Madelyn Ellison and Benjamin Weaver to research Somali refugees in the United States. We produced a two-part podcast series that discussed real-world examples of what Somali refugees face in the states. We also compiled our research to take our audience through the Somali experience via an intercultural communication lens on our website.
